As a dentist in Hayward, Dr. Diep says that he has the opportunity to change people’s lives for the better every single day, and he doesn’t take this for granted. He’s able to get people out of pain, restore their confidence, and help them avoid expensive issues down the road through his work. He has experienced the positive and lasting impact dentistry can have firsthand, and he can’t wait to leverage his skills to ensure you look and feel your best for years to come.
Dr. Diep first considered becoming a dentist while in high school, but he didn’t fully decide on it until college. The determining factor was when he volunteered at a mobile clinic in Oakland, CA. There, he witnessed hundreds of people camping out and waiting for hours to get free dental work. After that experience, he believed dentistry offered a great way to give back to the community that made him who he is today.
Dr. Diep started his college career at San Francisco State University, and he then completed a post-baccalaureate program at Cal State University-East Bay. He eventually earned his dental degree from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ, and today, he stays on top of the latest dental advancements through his membership in the California Dental Association.
Dr. Diep and his wife were married in October 2021, and they have two older dogs that are like their children (a Maltese/shih tzu mix and a chihuahua/Russell terrier mix). He enjoys watching cooking shows and following food-related posts on social media—if he wasn’t a dentist, he would have probably become a chef! In his free time, he likes to work out, try new restaurants, travel, and keep up with the Raiders and Golden State Warriors.
